Rice (chawal) Kheer Recipe

Kheer recipe is very famous and most favorite dish of all young, old and specially children. Rice Kheer Recipe is also known as Chawal ki Kheer. it is mostly used in festivals, occasions and parties etc. The main ingredients of Rice Kheer recipe are Milk and Rice. Kheer or Rice pudding is very healthy food. Kheer recipe can be made on many occasions. it is also called kheer mix.

Ingredients:

1 cup of cooked basmati rice
8 green cardamom pods crushed
2 tbsp rose essence
2 tbsp ground pistachio nuts
71/2 cups of whole milk
12 tbsp sugar

Method:

The rice is to be ground finely and placed in a pan with the cardamoms. Add 6 3/4 cups of milk and boil over average heat stirring constantly. Add remaining milk and cook over a average heat until the rice mixture thickens to a creamy consistency. Add sugar and the rose water and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Serve chilled, and garnished with nuts
